Muppets Nipples

Postby AccordionDad on Thu Jun 23, 2005 11:07 am

Ah, Michael Caine. Never turned in a bad performance. Never turned one down, either. My hero.

Since MM brought up the Muppets, I would like to abuse this space for pursuit of a personal vendetta.

Did anyone see Muppet Wizard of Oz? Did anyone but me find the use of characters ridiculous? I wrote about it a couple weeks ago, but I'm curious to see if comics fans have the same opinion as my 8-member audience of poets.

To wit: Gonzo saying "Those are my nipples" caused me to hate that movie.

Discuss.

The MWOO originally aired the night before Milligan and fam's
house move. It was on in the room, but people were cleaning
and packing so no one was really paying attention to it. One
thing I do remember: I thought Piggy's leather-clad Wicked
Witch had a type of S&M slant to it. I did not hear the nipples
comment, though. What I caught of Pepe's wisecracks were funny.

Geez, I hope my mention of Muppet nipples isn't what started us on the path toward cartoon e*******s. Oy.

Gonzo should be covering his "headlights" with foam nipple covers.   I've heard that the muppet show wasn't really spectacular.
