Beth has brown hair. Roxanne has red. Plus, Beth has a wider face. I didn't get confused, but I can see a resemblance now.

Actually, I think the royalties are due to our host, whose characters' likelnesses have been usurped. But squa-BAM's worth at least a half a buck.
But miK, We should have known from the hug that this was not our Frank and our Beth. Can you say "unrequited"?
------------------

miK, miK, miK...
YOU know you didn't invent Squa-BAMMs. It was first coined in that rarely-seen prime-time Hanna Barbera special "Justice League Meets the Flinstones". It appeared on the screen for a split second when Bamm Bamm clunked Batman and Aquaman's heads together.
Then Gleep did something stupid and I turned it off, but I'm sure I saw it there first.
------------------

And then there are variations to the squa-bammm

Postby Johnski333 on Mon Jan 20, 2003 6:01 am

And then there are variations to the squa-bammm:

NASA
5-4-3-2-1-. . . squaaaaa-liftoff!

At the bar:
squaaa-booze
(as it's getting ready to be poured slowly say squaa and once it hits the ice say booze)

Titans playoff game commentator/me:
"He takes the kickoff at the 15 . . . to the 25, the 35!"
"squaa-fumble!"
(I actually got a huge spit-take from Karen on this one, she was cracking up)

Squa-bamm and or it's variations are trademarks of MLM and Company.

I believe it has entered the Oxford Dictionary of the English Language...or is it the Webster?

So it can't be patented at this point.

Postby Padre on Mon Sep 08, 2003 6:13 pm

:o Squaa-bamm! :o
Is there a shortcut for being "Squaa-bammed"?
Have I been "squaa'ed" or "bammed", or is there no verbal easement in phraseology?
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Do you know Zipper was once a trademark?
But it got used so frequently that it just became common.

People were getting tired of saying "Vertical interlocking metal fastener"

Personally, I always shortened it to its acronym - VIMF.

"Pardon me, your VIMF is down."

Wow

Postby Johnski333 on Thu Jul 22, 2004 6:20 am

If you can believe it I saw a commercial with a man in a beaver suit bowling.

He says sqa-bam after getting a strike.

It's a commercial for "Great Stuff" a vinyl insulator jammie. I found the firm that made the commercial and they (luckily) have everything they do posted online . . . so without further adoooooo . . . . (pay attention it's almost the first thing in the commercial)

Indeed... yesterday as this strip was published I felt my pocket get fatter.
$ $ SQUA-ROYALTIES! $ $

This would be a good trivia question (which even I don't know the answer to):
How many times has someone been SQUA-BAMMed in L&F?

peace-

miK: Did you notice Technorati has jumped on the bandwagon on this question? You can add a little script to your webpage now that answers the question: How much is your SQUA-BLOG worth?
