In regards to -- Logically, that should have played out more like this:

AMBERBEARD: Yarr. What be that? A memory stick?

FRANK: Aye. And Cheyenne's next album is on it. Plus bonus tracks.

AMBERBEARD: Cool! [ stabs Frank and takes memory stick ]

Now if Frank was dangling the memory stick over the side of the boat, or announced that it was encrypted, Amberbeard might have had reason to abandon her murderous intent. As things stand, it doesn't make much sense (but we do get to see Frank's palm buried in Amberbeard's cleavage).

Heehee! You're right of course.

Let's just say Amber's excitement has gotten the best of her. And maybe she's not as murderous as she'd have people believe.

Plus, sheesh, I have enough trouble trying to keep her costume consistent without having to worry about pesky little things like plot logic!

This was a classic L&F story for me - pop references (that I get about half of), action (in which Max is Cool and Frank doesn't entirely embarrass himself) and villians that make bring the spirits of Cesar Romero and Eartha Kitt back from Batman heaven (though this was more of a Julie-Newmar-Catwoman than an Eartha-Kitt-catwoman or Lee-Merriweather-Catwoman).

Yes, my pop culture references are vintage 1968. It's not "IpodDad", you know.

And not to be a pain to Power-of-Point-Five, but in a story where the seal and the dog have a conversation in the shadow of the cleavage-rich villianess, are we really concerned about realistic swordplay?

I'm just sayin'....
