Me too! Me too! I had to special order my copy through the local comic book shop, which is probably what quite a few people will have to do. (Gotta keep the locals in business as well as the artists, ya know. )
Very little as far as quantity, but it definately made up for it in quality. Good work, as usual Gisele. I'm looking forward to the future issues.
Don't get discouraged. I think I speak for the majority when I say that I love your work and miss seeing it online.
I'm just looking forward to more installments be it in print or net form.
Cheers,
CG

Thank you guys for all your support. I know I've been quiet lately but it's for good reasons and I'm truly sorry for it.
I need to cleanse my mind and the only way to do that is to do things that I don't normaly do. I have to break the routine and being away from the computer is part of the cleansing process.
Seeing the first printed comic of CCS has really lifted my spirits. I'm very happy with it and I'm glad to see that it's being received quite well.
Thanks again to my TRUE fans

Just got mine as well. Love the layout, and I love the original story as well. Only problem is, now I'm gonna end up trawling through the archives all over again.

I always feel torn when threads like this start because, well, I follow Gis's stuff loyally because
a) I like it
b) She's my friend
so it's pretty much a given that I subscribed and got my issue and really liked it.
But I also know how reassuring it is to get messages that acknowledge your existence as a creative person.
So, yeah, got mine too, loved it, looking forward to the next.
Kitsune

It's getting better but there is room for improvement.
So all you gals out there, it's time to hit your nearest comic book shop
As for updating the site, I'm working on it. You'll probably have to wait until January however. I have too many deadlines to meet before Xmas.

it's really sad actually.. but at least his store is doing VERY well for him now...
he just doesn't like women... he thinks they're dumb... not that he's not right in SOME cases, but there are idiotic men too...
DS

There are comic books where women are more than pin-up bimbos or dominatrix. Strangers in Paradise comes to mind, and on the web Bruno, although I think they're both written by men (I know Bruno is.)
Stone Soup and For Better or Worse are syndicated comics written by women.
I guess there's some disagreement whether a Laura Kroft character (sexy and tough) is an empowered woman or a gamer-boy's wet dream. As a male I'd be interested in a woman's point of view on this.
------------------

...okay, Terry Moore, author of Strangers in Paradise, is a man. Oh well. The "Terry" made me wonder...
------------------

I love For Better or For Worse...
oh well, I loved CCS, but now it's never updated and this site is getting closer and closer to my "links I never go to list" since I never have a reason to go to it 'cuz it's never updated, but it's okay, I'm not the one who cares how many ppl visit this site...
DS [just a thought I've been having]
