Argus plush toy?

Postby Brad J. Guigar on Mon Jan 26, 2004 7:10 pm

This has been inquired about on the Tagboard. Is there any interest in an Argus the gargoyle plush toy?

Hmm, guess folks haven't gotten their coffee and sat down at the computer yet.

Argus vs. Skull Anyone?

Postby The1Paladin on Sat Jul 10, 2004 10:24 am

Oh boy. Two plushies from two of my favorate web comics coming out at about the same time. Assuming Kurtz (http://www.pvponline.com) actually has any Skull plushies left after San Diego, I'll have to see about snagging one of each...Of course if I do that I'm just going to HAVE to do an Argus vs. Skull photo mini series...I guess I should start writing a plot...

That I gotta see. I'm really looking forward to going to San Diego so I can get my Skull plushie! :)

As far as matching them up, it looks like Argus is going to tower over Skull. But it should still be a good fight.

Argus and Skull make a pretty good team. But if I said any more than that, I'd be giving it away. :D

Argus vs. Skull

Postby The1Paladin on Mon Jul 12, 2004 11:51 am

If necessary, I could fiddle with perception in the shot, of course photoshop would help some too. I wrote a very simple outline yesterday (Sunday) while watching Darlington, and promptly threw it out as being a little to comlicated for my photorgraphy skills...Anyway, I sent Scott an email telling him of my little plan, we'll see what he thinks.

Oh, and when you get yours, could you possiblly get someone to take a picture of the two of you holding your plushies in fighting like poses facing each other with mean looks on your faces (think boxing poster) I'd love it. It would make a good cover...

My general idea is kind of a standard comic VS. book, but funnier. I hope.

Saw a shot of those Skull plushies. Nice. Did you get one, Brad?
