Well, a new person who is late to the party...

It seems I have missed the party - which is shame. :( Oh well.

I'm new to these forums, couple of days I found Class Menagerie. I was reading the strip all the way, it was one of few webcomics that have very unquie characters - with their own unquie background story, personality and their looks. I also loved the whole webcomic. I was gutted to see it's finished and there will be no more strips for TCM, but at least it introduced me to one of best artists out there, as well when researching the artist of the webcomic on Wikipedia I found he has worked for "Carpe Diem", which is now another webcomic I really enjoyed.

I'm wondering about i.s.o., though. I heared it has same art style as TCM and takes place in same building, but I seem to can't find it anywhere, :( Is it some kind of promo comic, or something you have to buy from online stores? I'd love to read it.

Anyway, hope I'll see ya around here, and I'll keep cheer for Class Menagerie, and will plan to re-read the strip all over again. :p

Never too late when it comes to TCM

Postby ChrisFoxx on Sun Nov 12, 2006 10:09 am

I know how you feel, guy, I came in and started reading TCM when it was about a month, maybe 2, from ending. Talk about being heartbroken; I'd known about the strip for AGES and had only started reading it!

And to be honest, I miss it a LOT.

Heck, I'd even done a piece of fan art I never gave to Vince when it was coming to it's end :(

But you DID find TCM, so I for one hope you're loving it as much as I did!

And for me, it's PAST time to reread it ... again 8)

Best to ya!

I know how you feel. Started reading after it ended.

Nice to see new people are finding it.
The book is almost always better than the movie. You could have no better case in point than FROM HELL, Alan Moore's best graphic novel to date, brilliantly illustrated by Eddie Campbell. It's hard to describe just how much better the book is. It's like, "If the movie was an episode of Battlestar Galactica with a guest appearance by the Smurfs and everyone spoke Dutch, the graphic novel is Citizen Kane with added sex scenes and music by your favourite ten bands and everyone in the world you ever hated dies at the end." That's how much better it is. - Warren Ellis.

Nobody ever told Picard that "Ye cannae change the laws of Physics!". They just DID it. - Vampiress Kat.
