Hey gang! As mentioned in the February 28th Rothland Tribune, whenever I'm stumped for a caption, I'll be asking you the readers to submit caption ideas to me! If I like your idea (or one of your ideas, if you wanna submit multiple ideas to me), I will give props to you here in this thread (unless you'd rather remain anonymous, of course!). But thanks in advance to all those who submit captions to me. Your help will be muchly appreciated, I promise! :D

Our first Caption Champions!

First off, I'm happy to report that you people are not making it easy for me to pick captions for my strips. For every caption I've chosen, there are at least a half a dozen or more that I had to reject, and with much regret. A big thanks to everyone for sending me caption ideas over the past week. *spreads hands as far as they will go* Your help is appreciated THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS much!!! :D

With that in mind, here are the fine folks I need to thank for the past week's batch of captions....

2/26 - Flutts Step-on Oswold - inspired by Gene Wirchenko

2/28 - Ain't That A Kick In The Plants - Dave Aronson and Matthew Quirk both came up with this idea

3/1 - Bushwhacked? - Phlip

And for last week, I liked...

2/21 - Keeping An Eye Out For Promotion Opportunities - Reinout van Rees

(and that's another benefit of submitting you caption ideas. If I use yours, I'll be glad to link to your website, if you have one!)

Thanks again, folks! I know I'll need your captioning help once again, so keep them thinking caps handy! :D
