Years after the link was mentionned, it had to come out sooner or later...But this wasn't how I expected it! :o

I find the reference to Utah ironic and funny.

Several thoughts:
1)Direct descendant...What's "indirect"?
2)Unless direct descendant means "son of the son of the son of the son...", then Ambrose is jumping to conclusions...It could very well be that Eunyce is Ailix's descendant.
3)Makes sense that Ambrose would try to find a way to make a buck from this, of course...But how would Bruno react? He's as greedy as Ambrose, but he's been getting lessons from the Bluebird for awhile.
4)Heck, what is the Bluebird planning? It's been grooming Bruno for some project for a long while now...Until now, it's looked like Bruno was being trained to be a socially respected arch-crook, but, if the bird knows about the Ailix link, then this could be bigger...
5)Come to think of it, how do Carlin and the Bluebird know about the link in the first place?
6)I can't help but be reminded of the Da Vinci Code.
7)Um, Bluebird, explain yourself more clearly...Just because Bruno is a descendant of Ailix, that shouldn't make him his second coming (otherwise, by know, he'd be the millionth coming).

Yeah, I thought the same thing...in fact, I'd be more inclined to suspect it's Eunyce than Ambrose.

Well, after Ambrose decided it was him, it made me almost positive that it was Eunyce. But both a fame vampire and a direct descendent of Ailix? What a combination!

it makes perfect sense. famous people are often under the delusion that they are gods....then again, gods tend to be rather famous.

Actually, as soon as I figured that Eunyce was the descendant of Ailix (for the same reason you did), I came up with the spec that Ailix' son may have been Nosfeantyx himself! Think about it: How famous would th son of God Incarnate become? And the church would have good reason to cover it up given what he eventually became, which would hurt their rep. And vampires can live indefinately, so it would be possible that Bruno is the only male descendant of Ailix to be born after His death.
