BtB ref in GPF Today (1/7/03)

Postby Limax on Tue Jan 07, 2003 7:48 am

In today's strip of General Protection Fault, there's a reference to one of the characters (Fooker the Barbarian) being from near Rothland (more or less....). I wonder if this means that he will show up sometime harrassing Bruno in some way...

come now - everyone who knows bruno ends up harassing him sooner or later. hmmmmm - if bruno goes up into the monster mountains, who knows who all he might meet?

(and it was actually fookar the barbarian - somehow that suggests to me that the accent is on the kar)

Why not, Dan? A GPF/BTB crossover might be kinda cool! Although it'd probably be more to my benefit than Jeff's, as he has a lot more readers than me! :D

Later,
Ian

That just means that so many more folks would benefit from being Brunofied. :D

-- would it entail a Fiona/Fred faceoff, do you think?

I think it'd be a bit one-sided, I'm afraid. Fiona can breath fire, and slime molds don't really stand up well to that. Case in point.

Speaking of benefits, BtB and GPF both benefitted from Sluggy by gaining me as a reader, during the big crossover that Ian, Jeff and Bill did a couple of years ago... so crossovers aren't really bad things.

However, I think if we see Fookar, it might just be as a cameo. :)

be patient, major - i'm sure someone _will_ strike it before too much longer.

as to fiona vs. fred - that would be a great battle of wits! i think fred would be safe for a while, at least - fiona really doesn't flame people that often. (although fred might want to consider letting her win, if things get too close.)
