Hmmm, so, are you convinced I am not a regular then? And, no, I was just told that there were some demons lying around..perhaps in need of tormenting.

For the last bloody time, I'm a dragon, not a demon!

That's it! I'm going back to my lair and sulking. I'm not coming out until you all be nice!

Well... I could try and dig up enough bile to make an appropriate response, but I've got a big day tomorrow and I need my beauty sleep...

oh, _that_ violet.....i'd forgotten all about her. a lot of those minor characters ended up sorta shoved aside for the 'big 4' - kinda sad, really.

Y'know, Ian. I realise that you're trying to open BtB to more readers, but the literacy level of some of these new 'uns has a lot to be desired...

BZZZZT! Wrong! Thank you for playing! Does THIS quote jog anyone's memory??

"Violet! You're turning violet, Violet!"

And since you're referring to peanuts, Freida was the one with natural curly hair. Violet had black hair and a pony tail.

i actually remembered it was frieda, but not till after i couldn't communicate. proves my point about all the minor characters though. i don't think i've ever actually seen 'willie wonka' all the way through - it's sad, how deprived my childhood was.

Actually, I saw the movie first, and then wondered why the book was incorrect in so many places. :o

well, that at least is something future generations will be spared - they probably won't read the books at all. they'll just be wondering why all those old tv shows on nick at nite got the movies all wrong....

Sad, isn't it? Speaking of books, I'm struggling to get through Closing Time by Joseph Heller. It's nowhere near as good as Catch-22, and I'm trying to decide if I should even bother.
