I'm...a bit confused.
First the arc opens on Tito the Thief's plan. OK, fun enough.
Then he gets "ambushed" by the Bunkelyutzs, who want him to join the operation. No problem.
Then it turns out that Bruno is cracking under the pressure of respectability, and wants to be a bandit again. Makes for some fun reading, especially his "convincing" the Belching Hydra guys to get back on the straight and narrow.
Then Tito admits he's gay. A bit of an odd swerve (and the retcon about his hitting on Elysia was unnecessary; he could have been bi), but the "gay marriage" take was classic BtB humor, at least.
Enters Clonin's gay twin, AIDS, the Fred Phelps analog...and, sorry, but that's just too many swerves. I can't really take this arc seriously anymore (to the extent one takes a BtB story "seriously"...)
Then Bruno snaps and starts revelling in a repressed feminine said...That's not bad in itself
, but in context, the arc looks like a headless chicken running around randomly. At this point, I'm mostly reading to see when this arc ends.
