How do we KNOW you're not a witch?

I say we throw you off a cliff with a broom and see if you fly.

We did do the carrot. A bit.

But he is a witch. He turned me into a newt (but I got better.)

So get Bedevere's largest scales and weigh him to see if he weighs the same as a duck.

well, i'm not one to disrupt a good witch hunt....although i do have to wonder why bin laden took credit for 9/11 if he wasn't responsible.

(if we can't find a duck, we could look for a very small rock.)

Facial analysis of the bin laden videos shows a different person in each video.
The beard in particular can be colour analysed, relative to other colours in the video, of course, to be either fake, or heavily dyed. Since Bid Laden is supposed to have committed 9/11 as a religious act, and considering the religion he spread, I think we can safely assume that he wouldn't wear either a fake beard, nor dye any of his hair.

Other events from 9/11 indicate a group of American terrorists, (not a particular group, just that whichever group did it was American), and that there was an amount of inside information regarding the security and structure of the twin towers that was leaked.

I don't have enough evidence to point any fingers or draw any conclusions besides Bin Laden and the Al Qaeda being highly unlikely suspects, but the hard response from the gov't is enough to lead me to believe that Bin Laden was merely a scapegoat for a terrible event they knew they couldn't solve, (in time to appease the public, at the very least. Consider the evidence they had at the time when they made the accusation).

Anyone who's seen Ian knows that he doesn't weigh the same as a duck. Unless it's a very large duck. In boots. Carrying a suitcase. Full of bricks. :D

Bin Laden shot JFK so he wouldn't reveal the part the Mafia played in faking the moon landing. Lee Harvey Oswald was a grey alien. Elvis is living in a secret underground bunker beneath Area 51 and is responsible for the invention of cel phones and Nutella. The third secret of Fatima was a prediction that Al Gore would cause global warming. The cake is a lie.

I have not had the pleasure of meeting Ian so I couldn't possibly comment. The only references I have are the two strips mentioned here, which are this one and this one. But he looks like he weighs less than I do.

No, no, no! C.G.B. Spender shot JFK. And Elvis isn't responsible for cell phones or Nutella; he was whisked away by the GRAISE in the 1970s. (I can reveal now that cell phones were invented by Captain Kirk bringing them back to the 20th century in another time travel escapade that has yet to be filmed, since he was extremely old when it happened.) As for Nutella, no-one really has any clue behind that hideous... stuff... I can only conclude that Lord Horribus and co. brought it over from somewhere to introduce a whole new form of evil.

And the cake isn't a lie, it's alive. And it's name is Johnny.

(And now my media-addled brain will rest.)

Um. Elvis wasn't whisked away by the GRAISE. He just went home.

Ugh, everyone knows that Elvis was assassinated by the mob to make his ribcage into a wine rack for the don's daughter. For her wedding day.

you know, given elvis' affection for things like peanut butter and banana sandwiches fried in bacon grease, i could totally believe he invented nutella.

*Bumps* Hopefully this forum has been a little more active lately... now if only people would take up the discussion threads...

I'd post more but I usually don't have a lot to say, unfortunately.

I'm with Arantor on that. Beyond trying to sway people to my views in politics, I don't really have that much to say.

Although I'm sure I would if the community would start talking.

Well, the community is talking more than it has for a while, so all we need is another topic we can thrash out and argue about for a few weeks.

Heh. Well the best arguments I've ever had are with people with whom the argument brought me closer to them; it enabled me to see their point in a way I would never have if they had just told me.

Besides, we can always call on Dr. Mariana to mend the relationship :)

I think she's bound to oversimplify the relationship and after appearing to help us initially, her advice will soon fall apart and we'll be worse off than before.

So, um, did I have a stroke or something, or did BtB go full color again, and no one has mentioned it?

I think that is only colour from the blast, to emphasize it's still there, not full colour.

And the Bluebird has always been in colour, although we haven't seen him today.

heh, yeah, it'd be pretty weird to have a bluebird who isn't blue.

Except, of course when he's actually disguised in white (here and here, the confession here)

Even if the strip had returned to full colour, the strips with the blast are better only with the light from the blast and the rest in black and white.

I hate the fact I live in the UK. I have thought about emigrating, actually. The UK's getting more and more hideous to live in with the rubbish the government keeps doing...

If I moved to Canada I'd be able to join in the games!

I love the strip because it's a self-contained universe that is at least mostly consistent with itself and later stories build on elements from previous ones.
