About Pati's past

This strip just made me want to know even more about what happened. I wonder what did she do.

Did she went to bed with the stripper from her bachelor girl party?

We may find out next week.

On the other hand, I'm wondering if Dex is going to eventually try to be a better friend to Patti (perhaps at some point leading to being steady, engaged, dare I say it, even married?).

I can see him trying to be more sympathetic -- Dexter has had his share of rejection caused in part by his own lack of social skills. It would be nice if he can help her see that it would be a good idea to stop punishing herself for one long-ago mistake.

... sudden WEIRD thought ... you don't suppose her one-and-only might have been named Sam... ???

Sam the scum or 'Sluggy Freelance' Sam. I'm expecting 'posiverse's' Trish to show up at some point.

Sam the guy Ki almost married. What struck me is that Patty's almost-husband was apparently not the forgiving type, and Sam certainly wasn't, either.

And yes, we haven't heard from Trish in quite a while. I'm sure that she and Akhilesh will show up sooner or later, and at some point thereafter I anticipate more wedding bells (with far fewer complications). :-D

Yeah! Since having your DNA reformatted is an everyday thing and they only have to confront the risk of her whole body will crash anytime soon... Less complications, surely... :smug:

hush, now.

yes, one wonders about patti's fiance - that seems harsh, to just walk away from the woman you love on the day before the wedding, with no word. i wonder if she ever saw him again...or if perhaps something happened to prevent him from even returning her calls.

(Quotation edited to work around the eff-are-oh-em bug :grumble: )

Ooh! Yet another plot twist! I like the way you're thinking, mouse! Much better than scummy Sam messing up another poor young lady's life. I wonder if it's too late for a rescue mission for Patty's true love....

There, to emphasize what would be his profile.

I really enjoyed how well does Dexter have matured. He has learnt a lot form all those bade experiences.

Once I thought that the girl that he met at fast dating could still have a chance with him, but he really looks nice with Pati in this strip. So let's keep superficial-fast-dating girl as a bad experience rom Dexter's past.

Maybe, but he's sounding very older-brotherish at the moment, with all that sympathy and wisdom. I get the idea that if he were romantically interested in her, he'd be a lot more nervous.

Okay, Patty sounds like she's on her way toward healing. I wonder which loose end is next. Any speculation? :-D

Looks like Fooker just said what was mostly on male fans minds, at least.

I don't know how short Patty is, but Dex surely looks of gargantuant size next to her... :o
