My mind wanders sometimes when drawing background people. At first, I just place random conglomerates of facial features and clothes in random places. But then when I have to draw the same camera angles, and therefore repeat the same background personae, I start wondering about the lives of these brief extras. I drew a man and a woman at that table and I thought, "Huh... Are they dating? Did they just meet? Is he trying to pick up on her? Are they siblings?" The quick'n'dirty way I was drawing them, it seemed the girl was distracted and the guy was a little on edge. Something was up, for sure.

I had debated whether to give it a happy or sad ending. For some reason, I really wanted the girl to be happy. What, with her problems at work, at all... ;)

When you played sim-city, you really liked the feature of tracking an individual sim, right?

Guess I haven't played a recent-enough verson of that game. I've never even seen that option. But yeah, I'm sure that's how I'd play.
