How will the pastor react to the news that Luca now sees himself as "King"?

Probally just take it in stride. Crazy people do crazy things.
Posibally some referance to the King of Kings.

All luca really did was expand his territory to the nukee department. Considering he pulled off the grades to earn the swing set, I'd say the priest would be proud of him for having done so much with his education.

Yeah, the priest seems to take everything in stride. He hasn't seen Luca in a long time, but he remembers to call him Lord Luca. Based on today's strip, he also seems to accept that Luca isn't religious anymore. I doubt he'd have any significant reaction to Luca promoting himself to King.

This is also one of the first times in a while where we're reminded that underneath the charming and Norton-like exterior, King Luca has the other half of what a good ruler needs - brains and a certain ruthlessness.

...mmmm, I wouldn't say that. King Luca certainly isn't typical in his religious beliefs, but he seems to remain fairly passionate about them.
