he stated he cannot arrest him, and then he went and suggested something volatile.

*eagerly awaits wednesday*

Seem to recall some rule about not being able to be charged for the same thing twice, unless new evidence is presented. Knowing Teri, all possible evidance has already been presented, including, but not limited to, eyewitness accounts.

"We couldn't arrest you now if you took my gun and robbed this station!"
The fact that he's telling it to Gav makes this punchline so incredibly awesome.

bloodeye just gave me a new idea. thanks b.e.

is this one of her acts of love? she has him charged with a whole bunch of shit, and that way he cannot get arrested for anything else?

Edit: Damnit, why cant the days of the week run Monday Wednesday Friday Monday Wednesday Friday Monday Wednesday Friday. that way i could get all of them day after day.

I guess you're right about Teri's motivation. I would think she'd also get some pleasure in watching him, via the Gavcam and the security cameras, squirm.

Ps.
I'm still waiting for Gav to ask what's-her-name, the bar maid, if she minds dating someone with a delinquent daughter.

He can't be tried for the same crime twice. Double jeapardy applies from when he is acquitted of a crime, not arrested.

I just find it funny that the police would let a little thing like the inability to process paperwork keep them from arresting someone. I've been taken to a police station or told to get out of town when I wasn't breaking any laws whatsoever.

These cops are definitely the kind to get walked all over by an evil supergenius.

Or an evil pseudogenius with a lucky break.

Teri's plan

Postby HiFranc on Fri Aug 18, 2006 2:36 am

I think that, with the charges that Teri's brought against Gav, Gav would be able to counter sue/charge the police with harrassment.

I keep thinking of Teri replaying the scene that's about to follow to Gav's favourite bar maid.
