Urgent question for Gav

Postby nick012000 on Tue May 30, 2006 7:09 pm

I am currently fixing up the references for a group assignment due in a couple days.

I discovered this as one of the references my team members made.

At the moment I'm just citing it as (Rhoads, date unknown), but given that you went there, I was wondering if you knew (or would be able to find out) what year this was written in?

Looks like it was a report for a class (NE161 -- "Nuclear Power Engineering"). I don't know Rhodes, but our Nukee department webserver doesn't seem to protect it's directories:

http://www.nuc.berkeley.edu/thyd/ne161/jlrhoads/

Looks like the website, at least, was made in 2003. In July, though? Maybe it was a summer class. Anyway, it's as good an educated guess as any.

No, wait a minute... This is really strange. Check this out:

http://www.nuc.berkeley.edu/thyd/ne161/ne161.html

It's listed as projects from 1994! Wow, that was a long time ago. I was a first year grad student back then. But it's consistent with the references, in which he references his own lecture notes from a year earlier.
Lates...
