10/15 comic

I'm not usually one to pick nits, especially with SoaR, but:

One cannot interfere with a foul ball.

It's even debatable whether the ball was in foul territory or in the stands.

It did not cost the Cubs the pennant. They gave up 8 runs in that inning, losing by 5. Unless you're willing to blame 6 runs on that guy, it didn't even cost them the game.

Lots of people around him were trying to get the ball too.

Stu's halfwit cousin is Tippy, not Timmy.

True. But Joe's halfwit cousin in Timmy.

I was in the process of drawing that when I heard that the guy had been identified as Steve "Do The" Bartman, but I decided to stick with "Timmy" because, you know, he LOOKS like a Timmy.

All good points, but mob mentality is what is important here. The widespread perception is that the catching of that ball lost the game for the Cubs. It's not true, but the insanity surrounding the incident is the point of the comic (or its what I'm calling the point of the comic).

Can't argue with that.
