What the pimply-faced kid forgot to mention was that the activation card only has an hour of time included per month, after that, you have to buy the blocks at a discounted* rate.

*Discounted rate is by the minute at a cost of $.05 per minute during off-peak hours and $.10 per minute at peak times. Peak and Off-peak times are determined on a per-store basis, at the manager's discretion. Usage of the access is rounded to the next 5-minute interval. Connection time starts when you begin your access, and ends when our server acknowledges your logout request which can take up to one minute.

No, but I did sell cell phones when I was working at Target so I know all of the fine print.
