Seep

Postby Owen Gieni on Fri Sep 02, 2005 2:06 pm

I've made no secret of my love of the character Seep ( Sr. and Jr.) and I want to see him get his rightful due. Firstly Chris should make a Seep stuffed animal, secondly a Seep T-shirt (possibly drawn by myself), as well as have the character move into the Sore Thumbs videogame store and become a reoccuring character on ST. Are there any other Seep enthusiasts out there? I'd like to start a Seep forum and Fanlisting. I'm also very interested in any Seep Jr and Mark the shark slash fiction.
Thank you.

I agree. I don't think I exaggerate when I say that all the peoples of this planet, past, present and future, need Seep.

He puked his way into our hearts.

Seep sucks! Bring on Chris merchandising, though. He doesn't get used enough.

Seep was cool at first, but he kinda turned into a jerk. Oh well, he died so everything is cool again.

I'm usually not very suprised when Chris remembers something obscure from the 1980s.

What'd be surprising is if he remembered something from 980's.
Where did that come from?

That is true. I sometimes think that it would be fun to get into a Welcome To Eltingville trivia off with Chris over obscure TV shows and other pop culture detritus.

He emailed me this once:

"Mike,

Ibn Sina, commonly called AVICENNA, was born at Kharmatain, near Bokhara, and was educated at that city. My favorite MadBall is
Oculus Orbus. At the age of ten he is said to have shown great knowledge of the Koran, and of Hindu arithmetic. Under a scholar of note, Al-Natheli, he studied Logic, Euclid, and Hipparchian astronomy as contained in the Almagest, showing extraordinary zeal for study, and when his meditative powers flagged, restoring their balance by prayer. With mathematics and philosophy he combined the study of medicine: and is said, in his eighteenth year, to have cured the Sultan of Bokhara of a dangerous disease. One time
Alf chased Lucky into the kitchen and Lynn was bending over and
the cat rand under her legs and Alf bit her butt.

And also for the mockery of an old sci-fi convention that has to be accepted for the sake of convenience.

What happened to all these people who posted in this thread? It's like they all stopped coming to church.

Now I remember why I hate scifi - it manages to be less logical than fantasy. How?!

Chris and Co. can visit biannually

SEEPosity - the logical evolution of the comic.

It would involve reimagined MadBalls.

And be based in Hollywood.

RA Lafferty wrote jolly good science fiction that is more illogical than the rest because he was both a drunkard and a liar. He also wrote a parody of shaggy God stories despite being a super devout Catholic because he was crazy or something.

I didn't fully appreciate it at the time at the time, but Chris crewing his ship with aliens sent back in time to stop him from destroying their planet is one of the better things to have ever happened in Superosity. Maybe even better than Arcadia being possessed by the exoskeleton love hearts that she collected and kept in a box.
