I saw that Last Blood comic at a local comic shop three days ago on Free Comic Book Day! They only had one left and I almost grabbed it, but decided to leave it so someone who hadn't heard of Last Blood (and Marry Me) could discover it.

Besides, why would I want Last Blood when I could get "Archie's Pal Jughead" instead? Each patron was allowed two free comics, so I of course snatched up two copies of "Archie's Pal Jughead" -- one to read over and over again, and another to save in a mylar bag and acid-free box! It's going to be VERY valuable someday...

When I was five years old, I asked my father what Jughead was wearing on his head. He told me it was a broken jug, hence Jughead's name. Years later, I discovered it was actually a type of beanie. I called my father up on it, but he couldn't remember saying anything. To this day, I wonder if he had been serious or not.

I like that it seemed recently there was a whole Internet Convergence on What The Hell Is The Deal With Jughead's Hat, and it turned out it was a really old thing where people would turn beat-up fedoras inside out and then cut the brim like that.

When I was young, I always thought it was a Burger King crown, just because he sure liked hamburgers.
