SPOILERS:I like the cards in hand thing, good mechanic.

These robed people disturbed Ged greatly. Sacrificeing themselves to deal minor wounds, allying with unnatural creatures... This must be stoped, even if it ment delaying his return home. "Yes goblin, take us to this temple so we may end this blight."

"Tuk Tuk." Solin says, as he rides Percibal closer to the creature. Percibal looks at the goblin hungrily for a moment, before Solin thwaps his head. "No eating the goblin." Solin looks up towards Tuk tuk, and shakes his head. "Sorry. He's still hungry. So what's in the temple? Do you know? Or are we going in there blind?" he asks, as he continues to gather mana, sparing just the bare minimum attention he can for the exchange of words, the rest all focused on binding the Mana around him to his will.

By the way. New color to my stuff. And yes, leveling up if I can.

*Edit for Idea* Question. Can we spend experience to learn auras that we can cast onto other creatures? Such as some of blacks debilitating Auras, and some other effects, such as me casting eternal warrior on another person in the group, or something to that effect?

The auras are not auras specifically, but feats you have acquired DnD style. I don't think you could force others to learn feats using your own XP.

Arash swoops down and alights next to Solin. "It is good to meet you TukTuk, I am Arash Arack. I am glad to find allies in such a place, whatever their motivation. I am not so egotistical as to refuse the help of someone more knowledgeable than me. Lead on, friend."

True enough, but what about black auras that a player can ccast on his opponents creatures? Ones that weaken creatures instead of buffing them. I suppose what I'm asking is, can a character spend experience to learn those, and then use mana to cast them at other creatures like they would otherwise cast a spell?

Already tried dude. If we could, I'd be building a version of my black deck.

((Handful of quick questions myself:
When is "end of turn"? For example, would a sorcery-speed buff/debuff spell still be in effect when the bad guys attack us?
Similarly, when is "upkeep", and is there one for the enemy and third-party turns as well?
What determines "controller", particularly for "all [things] you/target player controls" effects? I'm guessing this one is a matter of allegiance and allies.
Oh, and Magnetic Theft, for ArcticTornado. Cute idea, man.
Huh. Isn't Tuktuk already golem'd by the time the Seal of Ugin was broken? ))

As the rush of combat winds down, Ezoc feels the spores in his own body thrive as mana infuses them. Truly this is the gift of the Golgari; he must share it with others. (Leveling up.) And if anything needs his aid in returning to the Cycle, it is these strange "Eldrazi" things. He'll nab the bitch's sword (if it was left behind) and run to catch up with their new guide.

Ezoc, Golgari Rotpriest (Black/Green)
Elf Druid - 1/3 (1/3 base)
B, T: Target creature gets -1/-1 until end of turn. If that creature dies this turn, put a 1/1 Green Saproling token into play.

You could have taken the sword from the Death Cultist before she could have used it. You also could have given it to any other creature nearby (not the brood warren, but TukTuk for example) or to any player nearby.

End of turn is after every player has made an action, Same for enemy and third party turns. A sorcery speed de/buff would no longer be in effect. Upkeep is the beginning of the turn. Controller is the same as owner in this case. Whoever picks up the Sword of the Meek is its controller. Ezoc's 1/1 saprolings are under his control. Allies are what you consider teammates. If Orim had posted before Ged, then the Death Cultist would have gotten Orim's buff as well, though it would not have saved her.

TukTuk isn't golem'd! Nor will he be if I have anything to say about it! :gonk:

((Lemmie rephrase the controller thing. I'm specifically refering to cards that refer to a player or controller. For example, Orim's ability, by the text, only works on creatures his "player controls". Can he have it work on our characters (and minions) and our third-party allies like the goblins? By the same token, could someone cast, say, Warrior's Honor and effect all the player characters, minions, and third-party allies? Or would these things only effect Orim and his personal minions?))

If you look under Orim's abilities, the ability is slightly different. Warrior's honor would affect everyone the caster deems an ally.

Tasen channels the rampant energy of the area into himself. It doesn't make him any stronger, but perhaps he is a little bit wiser. He turns to the goblin and introduces himself.
"Well met, TukTuk. I am Tasen Flamesight. Please lead us to the temple."

SPOILERS:My vote is to have Tasen level up again and follow the goblin.
