Turn 6

Dies in Water sits down outside the Training House, waiting for the others to hurry up and come adventuring already! But they all head over to investigate the Teller's Hut instead so he plays with his knives. The Teller watches him for a while then gets bored and heads inside the training house herself.

Coat tries to take a look inside on the higher window away from that creepy plant. If it moves towards him he'll back off before it can bite him.

Update might be a bit late tonight, I've got to hang around the Uni later than usual. Shouldn't be more than an hour or two out though hopefully :)

Turn 7

At the teller's hut, SmellstheGround investigates the area around the hut [Search=Success!], and notices that the creepy plant thing is currently snoring gently, and appears to be touching the door. He is careful not to touch it, but doesn't find anything else and moves over below the window where he and Wears a Coat create:

GOBLIN STACK!

ImaLamp spaces out staring at Licks, but Wears a Coat is able to peer inside the hut.

Looks like there's still a lot of smoke in there, but you could probably squeeze in the window one at a time.

SPOILERS:Ok, so I didn't expect any of you to be searching / sneaking inside the village, so I winged it. For any given search, I will tell you if you succeed or fail (though there are degrees of success / failure I won't necessarily tell you!), so you know if you should try again or not. Nonetheless, you have conducted your first successful search of a general area - Congratulations! Also, since Jacon and LicentiousDey appeared to want to try the same actions, I went with Jacon's as they were more specific. Posting vague actions is pretty hard to interpret, so if you guys could try and make it as clear as possible what you want your goblins to do that would be a big help :)

Coats steps back and waits for Dies to sneak in and will help him up if he needs. He keeps a wary eye on the plant and tries to stay quite and still as he can.

Dies climbs the gobbo-stack to sneak into the hut and have a look around. if there is a way to open the door without disturbing the plant he will do that as well.

Turn 8

Smells and Coat maintain their GoblinStack(TM) and help Dies and Lamp squeeze through the window furthest away from the plant. Both of them manage to wriggle their way through, but not before taking 1HP damage each due to the acrid smoke still coming off the runes... At least the air is cleaner down at the ground level.

Dies searches the room and is... Successful! Noticing that the rug in the middle of the room has been disturbed he looks underneath and finds the Teller's missing wand! Hooray!

Its probably going to need all four of you to teamwork your way back out of the hut if you head out through the window, but should be possible to do in one turn if you can handle the smoke damage again.

Wand of Healing: Can be used to heal 1HP per turn

SPOILERS:Licentious - you didn't have time to examine the door this turn, sorry!

Coats will back up from the door feeling that'll it either wake the plant up or those runes will do something.

( I'd say just take the window back. You can heal yourself once your out.)

Turn 9

Inside the hut, Dies reaches out to try and open the door, followed by ImaLamp...

As his hand touches the doorhandle, his Goblin-ESP sense suddenly starts tingling

Meanwhile outside the hut, Wears, being deeply suspicious of any attempt to open the door has backed well away and is keeping a wary eye on the proceedings. As Dies touches the door, the plant-thing snorts in its sleep and begins to mutter. Pulling his hand away quickly from the handle, the plant-thing blinks a couple of times and soon starts snoring gently again... Lucky you guys!

Smells meanwhile attempts to get licks to find a key in the skull that smells of the teller's drawing. Licks looks at him in utter bemusement for a little while, but eventually seems to understand the concept of pointing and starts snuffling about the skull. Which wakes up.

... Oooh! What are you lot up to? Not breaking in are you? Better watch that plant if you are, it'll have old Missus Sees herself over here in a moment if you try and get in there. Hehehe! Not that I'd be sorry to see you try - it gets awfully dull around here.


SPOILERS:Behold! The most beautiful and painstakingly created piece of artwork in the entire game! <ahem> I promise that Dies having twig arms will have no effect on his stats.

After wears and smells helps everyone get out, "Guys I think we're ready to go; I don't think we could prepare anymore even if we tried."

If were able to get everyone out of the teller's hut I'll exit the village.

I'm away out tonight to my cousin's graduation, so the update will likely be late tonight or up tomorrow. Can't do an early one since we're still waiting for an action, sorry!

Also, don't forget you guys can act & move - if you all agree you want to help Dies & Lamp climb out the window, you can still use your moves to go elsewhere if you want. Also for the purposes of this game, you can leave the village from any location.

Turn 9

The goblins team up to haul Dies and Lamp out of the Teller's window again, who both suffer another 1HP of damage due to the smoke, but manage not to wake the plant-thing up.

Nothing else gets done this turn, so they pose as a team cos shit just got real for lack of anything better to do.

Hey, I totally said I was leaving the village - what's with this posing as a team stuff?

<Ahem> After posing for the totally awesome team photo, Smells does indeed head on out of the village down the road and after an hour or so comes to this area.

Ok, quick recap on moving and stuff: you guys get a minor and major action each turn as well as a move. There have been a few turns lately where you've not really been taking full advantage, so just a wee reminder :) Movement penalties to shadows and tanks don't apply if you're following a road or clear path, but will apply in all other areas. If you're not sure if the movement penalty applies, just ask.

SPOILERS:Not much happening this turn. DesperateFool missed the update again, but I assumed he didn't want to be left behind in the hut :) Next update will go up after you guys all post actions (got a quiet weekend again), but the next scheduled one will be Monday.

Also, Lesson 1 about running a forum game for me: they take MUCH longer than you expect them to! This game might not be quite so short after all...!
