I'll ask the question I imagine many want to know:

What did Amadeusz want with the goblins, and what would have happened had they agreed to his offer?

It would have been fitting if they had forgotten to make a statue for Not.

"Get Away I Want To Be A-lion", it works with a selective Aussie accent... :smug:

Not gonna answer why, but if someone stayed behind then it'd still be game over, though not the best ending possible. THIS was the best ending. Minus the four dead Goblins of course.

Lady Sting, the final Champion. FOR OBVIOUS REASONS.

She focuses on dishing out damage. Her Atk is even higher than Amadeusz', and she too attacks twice. She's also got +1 move. Amadeusz had regeneration, more Hp, and his special attack though, so he was still stronger overall. During the escape, Amadeusz demanded that one Goblin stay behind for every Champion left undefeated, so if you'd beaten her, THEN escaped, Amadeusz would have let you go if you wanted. But you still had to fight and defeat him to get the best ending.

What was the DC of picking the lock with the dagger and crossing those cursed cages?

Fun fact: The German word for "alone" is pronounced "A line" . So if we assume he fails to ennunciate properly, and also assume that he's German, that works wonderfully.

My question: Were there secret name destinies in this game?

What would have happened if all the goblins had been let go after defeating Lady Sting, but they didn't defeat Amadeusz? Would he have come back and kidnapped people from the village or something like that to continue his "research?" Also, was there anything good that could have been done with that caged owlbear, or was its sole purpose to maim anyone who opened its cage? Also, what was Amadeusz, since he didn't quite seem to be human?

I actually don't recall exactly what I was rolling, since it's no longer needed it's IMMEDIATELY fled my mind and I never wrote that stuff down. The escape portions were meant to be left up to your own ingenuity rather than given game stats. But I'm pretty sure dagger lockpicking was 1d6, where 5 or 6 is a success, and 1 is a crit failure in which you break the dagger. The cage swinging was, I think, 1d8. 5-8 was success, 1 was crit fail, which caused you to fall and take damage.

There were no secret destinies in this game. They only occur in certain games. The sequel to Last Ditch will have them. When is that gonna be? WHO KNOWS. But probably next. However, each of your personal epilogues ties into your names slightly. Or a lot.

Who knows what Amadeusz would have done? Who knows what he WILL do? It's called SEQUEL FUEL!!!

The owlbear was there to act as an alarm if you made too much noise during the night while on the lowest level. But he could be placated with meat.

If you check The Arena Crowd you will find plenty of speculation aids on Amadeusz.

^^ Thank you for the awesome game LoneStarNorth, it was a pleasure to play in it. I am glad that I can be WieldsanawesomeSword advisor, never really thought that Betrays would live up to his name, so a fitting end. ^^

By the way, what would have actually happened if Amadeuz would have been able to get the crowd cauge thingy full for him? (all red for us)

Yup, very cool! It seems our characters got along really well, haha. We were able to find a paradise-like place for our warcamp, so we must have done on or two things right :D

Generally it's the same for the enemies as for you; +1 Atk, stays that way the rest of the battle. That' be a total of +2 for Amadeusz because he attaks twice, so it IS good you didn't let him get it.

What were you expecting when Ratha and I promised that we were making a MEGA-FLAUNT?

Alright, my question, if you'll have it. To the right of the lion cages, there was a grey bit that looked like a door. Did that do anything?

I figured Ratha might have been working on an animation for that, but I really had no idea. It was awesome though. Yours too.

That was indeed a door, but it was opened with a lever on the other side and did nothing, effectively. It's just to show that there's actually a way for the lions to get out, and to remind you that there's like a whole other half to the Arena dungeons.

I have only one question:

Would leaving a goblin behind (and therefore leaving him alive) have any effect on your future games?

However the game turns out is how it goes down in the Official Clan Fourem Universe Timeline. So if a goblin stays behind to live in Coppersun, yeah, it could very well be fuel for a future game, or aspect of a game.

I kept having a question, and kept forgetting it, but finally internet access and epiphanies have overlapped. Did the super animation for that flaunt in this last battle give an extra app bonus, the way that writing certain attacks in certain ways can affect attack and defense?
