Yeah, it was for me too. But hey, when characters make demands, what can you do?
Everyone please welcome Karla to the fold. :)

Hi, there. Long-time reader, first-time caller...Yeah, I've been reading CYS for...four?...that sounds right...four years now, and am quite frankly shocked that another character has actually appeared live and on-screen. For me, part of the appeal has always been the mystery behind the supporting cast (or lack thereof), and I've always had a pretty good image of how these off-screen people look. While actually seeing Karla has removed a bit of the mystique, I'm not telling you how to run your strip...I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with this. (For the record, your drawing matched my mind-drawing-image-thingy pretty well. Spooky, yes?)

That being said, please don't show us Marty any time in the near future.

I'm trying to guess why some characters appears and someothers don't. Because I use to think I had seen Katie and Laurie because they are the only one who can see ship. But with Karla I don't know why I've never seen Marty's face.

I love these strips. They are definitely my favorites. I always wish there were more, but then I would miss all the fun in between. I love it!
