Sam is a fennic, so in naturally short.

As for the poker chips, they were used for cash when the value of the pound fell though the floor and the tradition stuck. I didn't want to use "credits" or some shit like that, so the Anarchists get paid in "chips."

It would be damn hard to counterfeit a holographic coin... Even assuming it's not fuzzy because you don't have the master object, you have the AWACs effect. As soon as you try to use the coin, a detection can be made with any of the other 40 REAL coins they have handy. The differences turn up as a bright spot. :)
