Is that really what it's supposed to look like?

Also, your "forums" link is in a flash app, not a real link. So I can't middle-click to have it open in a new tab. This annoys me.

Have you considered checking to see what version of flash you have installed on your computer? I hadn't updated flash on my computer for a while... just checked and found the version was almost a whole version number older than the current release. Upgrading made the comic work.

I like the music.

You've ether:

a) Need to update Flash
b) You use Opera, which means you need to get a less crappy browser.

Now now. Contrary to popular beliefs, Opera is pretty good and firefox is not the saviour of all mankind either, but before I derail the topic into a wonderful browser flame war... :P

What exactly is the flash strip supposed to do? I do hear the music and I see a very blurry set of heads and something floating in the background... and whispering. Is it supposed to leave me scratching my head? Heh.

Well, she IS on the knife's edge of life and death, considering that her heart IS in fact stopped... Do you REALLY expect ANYTHING she sees during that time to make any sort of sence? Luckily, as of today's comic she's now out of surgery, and fully in the grips of the most sadistic AI in the SSDD timeline. Heh. Is anyone else wondering if this is the reason she went from being an AI hater, to surounding herself with `bots?

Heh, now that's a universal truth. Hehe.

Oh and you do indeed have a point starcat5. I had suspected as such myself.

I thought that thing spinning was a fan...which is a pretty reasonable assumption. I thought it was appropriatly trippy, and I want a copy of that music :P

It's in Flash 8. I tried using Flash 6/7 but it dodn't look half as good.

When I go to macromedia's download page, it says this:
Code: Select all
File size:     997 K
Download Time Estimate:    3 minutes @ 56K modem
Version:    7,0,63,0
Browser:    Mozilla and Mozilla compatible
Date Posted:    3/14/2006
Language:    English

This is if I click on the "Download now" button at http://www.macromedia.com/software/flashplayer/ . Flashplayer 7 *is* the latest for my platform.

Linux isn't a viable end-user operating system... because... There isn't Flash 8 available for it.

Umm, 'kay.

Code: Select all
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060605 Firefox/1.5.0.4

No flash at ALL for my platform (64bit Linux), and hey, I'm still breathing! INCONCIEVABLE!
