I knew you'd dig that. :D

For the record: Locus Issue Four is currently being brought to you by the remastered discography of Megadeth. I've got 'em all converted to mp3 format, and they just play at random on my work computer, all day long. I was listening to some other stuff, too, but when I sat down to do the Hell page, every song that wasn't Megadeth was just pissing me off. So I cleansed the rotation, and it's been nothing but Megadeth since the last week of May (or thereabouts).

Everytime this song comes up in the rotation, I have a hard time inking from all the headbanging I catch myself doing.

Enjoy!

I love that song! \m/
There's not a bad tune on Rust In Peace.
By far my favorite Megadeth album. :D

What's funny is that that song kinda-sorta describes the spot in the attic I turned into a half-assed studio back when I was 14.

Many of the things you people see in the Locus comic were spawned in that dark, wonderful place. Including some sketches which would later be the beginnings of Spook.

I should point out that the new Chickenfoot album is fucking AWESOME.

Down the Drain is my favorite so far, but that might change as time goes by.

Chickenfoot are growing on me.
I'm a sucker for Satch.
I know I'm in the minority but I've always thought Micheal Anthony was underrated as a bassist.
A solid pocket player that can get flashy when he needs too.
BTW: I have that Guitar World. Great interviews all around.

Mike Anthony is THE MAN. One of my favorite bassists of all time.

When he and Sammy get together on stage, they always look like they're having a lot of fun.

Who's up for some Twilight Zone?

It's not classic Rod Serling, but it is pretty good.

Holy shit, that was awesome.

I dig their Labia Limbo song as well.

As for the Ween/Peter Murphy dilemma...oh, man. I have no idea what you should do there. Flip a coin, maybe? :D

Well, I didn't get nearly as much done yesterday as I'd planned--mainly because I kept looking at my monitor to see what ol' Bob was talking about. Then I'd get mesmerized by his technique.

In other news:

I had no idea Alice in Chains had reformed and was making music again. That's cool. They have a video of their new song up on their website. Check it out. I dig it.

I get together once a week with a couple of other musicians and we jam away on a few tunes for a few hours.

This is one of the songs we play :

Old Crow Medicine Show - Wagon Wheel
http://www.crowmedicine.com/media/video-wagonwheel.htm

Never heard of this band until about a month ago.
Now I can't get enough.

Maybe at some point I'll post our version.
