So, it's just for gay dudes, then? Not for the ladies?

The feminists are gonna have a field day with that one!

That's a Photoshop composite--has to be. There's a Pedobear seal right under "Hyper Wank Device".

Still, though...I think "Hyper Wank Device" is gonna be the name of my next band. Or next album, at any rate.

I don't make new threads becuase they make me nervious so random it is.

How come you don't have Locus in the top web comics listings? Probably reel in alot of new people and even better, those of us who already took the bait would get to vote :D

...I know, i know, I'm annoying but I'm what they call an idea man (i'm not actully a man but it sounds more impressive) I also want to pester you for http://www.patchtogether.com/? A Spook figure! :D! DOOOO EEEEEEET I'm broke as hell and i'd buy one. ... eventully! you know you want one and I has proof they don't just make cute things, my friends webcomics character just got made by them (the shadowchild on the main page) and they did an awsome job, just need 50 people to vote and preorder it. :D

(Actully, I think the Raven's dojo person has a design on there, I'm not sure if it's from the comic >.> i like the character design though)

... i'm going to crawl back into my hole now.

Start a new thread anytime! I like my forums to be a happy mess of people saying whatever comes to mind.

The top webcomics listing thing is something I'm considering, actually. From what I've seen, other comics will offer voting incentives like wallpapers or even nude sketches of the characters. This is a problem for me, as you guys get to see these people nude all the time.

So I'll be offering a different, much better incentive, but I haven't had time to start working on it yet. I thought it up right before I got hit with a bunch of private commissions. Once those are finished up, I'll certainly get crackin' on it.

I want to wait till the beginning of November, though--for reasons I can't mention just yet.

As for the Spook figure, I've planned out a couple (from a simple bust to a full-body sculpt) but i'm not sure if they can handle small, pointy parts like his hair or claws.

Once I figure that out, though (and once I figure out if they're cool with sculpting Locus' bare breasts), I'd like to have figures of both Spook and Locus...if only so I can have them in my studio. :D

I'm glad you liked my designs on patchtogether. Unfortunately I lack the 50 presales it takes to make the figures go ahead. I think Spook or Locus would probably go over well. And since it costs nothing to submit images it's worth your time! Heck, man. Give it a shot!

I really liked your Valdalia design. Voted for it, even! Not too sure about that "Fat Ninja" one, though. Looks too much like someone I went to high school with.

I put in a vote for the Fission Chicken design, too, but he's only got 12 votes so far, which is too bad.

I will definitely see about getting something up there at some point. I've been thinking about a series of busts, instead of full figures. Spook, Locus, Isaac, Silk...maybe even Hampstead and the Nefilim!

Although I might do full-body versions of Spook and the Nefilim. I dunno. I should start a thread or a poll or something.

(I just woke up)

If you have any friends who are sculptors I've been reading and reading up on it. It's actually not really that hard to sculpt something out of sculpey, make a mold for it, then cast it in resin over and over again. Mind you these will have to be painted if you're going for something full size, but they can be cast in whatever color dye you want to put in the resin. Now if you were to create something small (muscle creature small for instance), you could charge very little for it and most people would probably forgive it being one color. Also hobby lobby (and other such places) sell keychain kits where it's just a bunch of hoops and hooks.

Hell you could sell it as a garage kit and leave the painting to the people.

The bad thing is that resin is gonna probably cost you 70 bucks a gallon. And to be honest that's the most expensive part!!! Other than that you're good to go!

I've been nerding over this but haven't had money to do it. I want to do some simple dojo crew stuff eventually. Anyway let me know if you have any questions! I'll try to help! I've even been reading up on home made rotocasters!

I've goofed around with the idea of sculpting--I worked for a game company which made pewter miniatures out of my illustrations a couple of years ago, and it looked like fun.

I don't think I have the sculpting chops to make a believable human figure, though, let alone one with wings and horns and shit.

One of these days, though...I'm gonna try anyway. We're moving next year, and will be shopping around for some land to build a house on. Once that's done, I wanna make a nice backyard garden with succubi sculptures all over the place. Wouldn't that be fun? Hell yeah.

I'm hoping to find a nice little plot of land somewhere out of the way enough to where I don't really have neighbors.

it displayed different naked versions of the most commonly encountered women of AD&D
it went red x when I tried to display it here.

Also: My friends from Cockpit have one of their songs in a film called "Narly 9". You can see the teaser clip here. No Cockpit music in that trailer, though. :-?

Those are some GODDAMNED AMAZING things they do on those snowcats. Oh, man, I miss snow SO HARD right now. :(

If you guys have never heard of Doris Danger Giant Monster Adventures, you really should check it out.

It's a modern version of those old Jack Kirby monster comics from the 60s, and it's funny as all hell. It's written/drawn by Chris Wisnia, who's the nicest dude you'll ever meet. I've met him twice, and he's way cool.

Start with this interview to see some sample art and such. Links to his stuff (via Amazon) are at the bottom.

Great read and a cool guy.

I'll have to give Doris a gander.

Plus he summed up my love for serial stories quite nicely. :)

The title of this should have been preceded by "Tales of the Evil Dead :" because it's just a Bruce Campbell & a Deadite away from being Evil Dead 4 and that's a very good thing.

Drag me to hell is fucking solid gold. It makes me wish upon a star that bruce would dust off the old chainsaw. If raimi can get a girl to channel ash so well, I know Bruce still has it!
