Rereading the comic from the beginning (again...) when one quote caught my eye: "Death from above!" Did you get that quote from Mookie's comic, Dominic Deegan: Oracle for Hire?

Hmm. Not intentionally, because the comic was based on a real incident (except the madly flailing cat landed right in front of myself and two friends, then attempted to saunter off nonchalantly). But thinking back, we witnesses were all already fans of Mookie's back then, so it wouldn't surprise me if one of us had cracked the "Death From Above!" joke for that reason, and so it worked its way into the actual story and via there the comic.

Which means now I owe Mookie an extra hug and a beer at A-Kon.
