Talismen: Return of the Exile- You know, that one web comic where elves fraternize with US Marines and that also features swords, castles, flying dogs, Wrigley Field, a curvy redhead, and a green bad guy.

hey everyone- sorry for the delay posting on here- I had three weeks - actually four weeks of really bad luck and monstrous work schedule, and webcomics have had to take a place on my back burner.

I will try to get this section of the Keenforum up as soon as I can! For those of you interestd in finding out about what the hell this Talismen is, you can click on my link below.

Thanks for being patient, yall.

if the link to your comic is in your signature, i can't see it. i think your sig needs fixing.

but if your avatar is anything to go by, the artwork looks good. i'll have to hunt for it on the keenspot main page.

Eh.

The art may be fantastic, but without a good story to back it up, it means nothing.

EDIT: After cruising through the archives, I'm not impressed but I'm not disappointed. Like I said, fairly generic stuff, especially with the whole 'alternate lives' thing.

No, never read it. But we're like hermit crabs, once your gone, we just move on in.
There are three types of people in this world.
People who make things happen.
People who watch things happen.
And people who wonder what the hell happened.

I for one really like Talismen, but I started with RotE and it seems that there were some published stories that took place before that. Does anybody know the proper chronological order of each chapter?

Dmaster, Kez suggests the Talismen wiki page, where [nearly] all answers can be found: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talismen

And to Stingra, dead as this forum might be, some of the best stories are the ones that play to childhood dreams and wishes--even if those kinds of stories have been done a lot. That would be WHY they've been done a lot. If that makes a tale generic to you, so be it, but my advice to you is to go grow an imagination, and to post moronic statements such as yours somewhere OTHER than this comic's forum. It called common courtesy, and Kez gets very pissed very quick when people seem to forget what it is. Just because you happen to have an opinion about something, doesn't mean you have to go about sharing it with everyone.

I think the really important question here has something to do with KEZ's use of the third person.

The use of 3rd person disguises my blatant use of inner monologue profanity. I only use 3rd person either in jest, or because I am simply that angry and it would be too rude to swear aloud. It's usually a toss up as to which reason, as I have a good poker face.

Yes, yes, I am quirky. That's why I make webcomics ;)
