Which forum?

Postby Gabi on Fri Dec 15, 2006 2:41 am

I haven't joined the other forum. I'm wondering whether I should. This one seemed somewhat active by the time I joined, but now it looks abandoned. Has the other one become more active? Or is it just that it's December and everyone is busy? Or does everyone just post on the LiveJournal?

So many questions... I hope someone can respond.

No one talks in the other one too.
Could be worse; could be raining.

I wonder why. And that's not irony, because I do have no idea why.
Maybe a good webcomic doesn't necesseraly means an active forum...

Beside, let me tell you that your answer to the "what is the gender of the angels?" issue is weird. I hope there is going to be immortals, too. If you can put an angel in a Buffy-like story, why not an Highlander-like character? They are another sort of undead, after all, and would perfectly fit in a fantasy world. Only my opinion, of course...

It does seem like tagboards, commentboards and the like tend to attract more posters--they're quick, easy, and don't require giving out personal information for an account, or having to memorize a password.

I prefer the posterity of forums myself, but that's just me... :)

Is there any way for a mod to make their forum accessible to guests, like I know some Spot forums used to be? Or would that let in more spam and trolls than could be handled? (Though I suppose, if the trolls aren't even bothering with the commentboard, it might be worth a try...)
In order to clearly see what is in the shadows, you must first enter them.
