"Ask Danny" Questions

Postby MathiasTolerain on Mon Sep 04, 2006 1:41 pm

Based off of Kel McDonald's idea of making "Ask Danny" strips on the weekend, this thread exists for the sole purpose of suggesting/discussing/mucking around with various questions to ask him.

So, post away!

I'll start.

Hey, Danny, of all things you could wear, why the piano-key tie?

4/3 what do you think of boba fett

4/10 Are dragons, unicorns, centaurs, and other "traditional" mythical beings real?

4/17 Have scientific tests on vampires ever been done to try and explain their condition biologically?

4/24 - what does brad think of boba fett.

5/1 Since you cannot die because of your blood bond with Seth. If you were to live for another hundred years and then Seth died. Would you rapidly desintergrate or would you continue aging from 35 as if you never stopped?

5/8 How would someone go about getting in Seth's pants?

5/15 pancakes or waffles

5/22 Did she REALLY give him his money back?!

5/29 Where is your dog? I haven't seen it lately.

6/5 Where is your dog? I haven't seen it lately.

6/12 What's the funniest joke you ever heard?

6/19 Danny, what are your thoughts on all the fan fiction that romantically pairs you off with Brad?

No! I am here! I just had to figure out what to ask, since I want to know so much.

I want to know if he likes being a teacher, or if he is thinking of becoming a lawyer (since he went to law school) or maybe a fry-cook.

I also want to know if he has to go visit his benefactress every time his contract comes up for renewal. I mean.... missing first period every Monday sounds like a good way to get fired to me.

Right...so do we post questions here?

If so, here's mine:

Thirty-FIVE. Three and a half decades. At least he looks like an adult, unlike poor Tommy. Soon Danny will have to start lying about his age.

Say, Danny, you seem like a pretty easy-going guy. Why do you hate your ex-wife so much? She must be pretty bad for YOU to hate her, you even get along with Seth for crying out loud!

Okay, okay... I know I'm hogging all the questions, but I thought of two more and they have nothing to do with Danny's sex-life, unlike my last two, so they must be good.

Early in the comic Pat says "...the spell they are casting is coming from the power inside of them and works because they believe it will" and "As long as I can control my own power and believe it will work enough I can cast one."

Question 1: Does this mean that with enough power/will you can eventually do away with spells entirely?

For example:

Sorcerer so powerful he is purely hypothetical: "Oops! I didn't mean to think of a blue whale appearing in your bathtub! You shouldn't have said anything!"

The sorcerer that the most powerful sorcerer in all eternity was trying to become: concentrates and his will is made reality.

Most powerful sorcerer in all eternity: concentrates really hard while looking at his target and what he desires happens.

Legendary sorcerer: just says what he wants and it happens ("Building, burn!" and it does).

Powerful sorcerer: makes up his own spells in his own language.

Regular sorcerer: uses tried and true spells in ancient languages.

Question 2: Does this mean that people with a more tenuous grasp on reality make better sorcerers (i.e. Loki) since they have a different interpretation of "impossible" and don't have to work against ingrained disbelief?
Two parts silly : One part crass.

What's the difference between a Mage and a practitioner of Sorcery?

I'm more of a lurker when it comes to newer boards, and boards that are well off without me.

Actually, I could have made the first topic in this board, but I figured Mr. Hound would delete it which brings me to my question; why did you leave your forum open long enough for anyone to post in it before you?

Usually, the powers that be (in this case the mod) make the first thread to introduce themselves, talk about the comic, the rules, etc. etc. I'm just curious.

How old is Jeff? Because he couldn't be as old as he looks and be that naive about what Seth was did during the fight.
The 'You Are _ _ _ _!', 'My Personality Is...' and all things related are stupid. There will be no argument on this.

His age is said here and he was asking because he coldn't see anything because his eyes were closed and Loki was in the way. If he had see he would have known exactly what happened.

And to why leave my board open for someone else to make a post, I actually did make the first post in it.

Personally don't think it matters who make sth efirst post so I would have probably just responded and congratulated the person for being the first poster.

No, seriously, Mr. Hound! Your fanbase demands input upon your everyday life, and anything else interesting like your thought process, why you started this comic, etc. etc. WE MUST KNOW!!

Well, my daily life consists of drawing waking up. Checking webcomics and blogs that i read. Class or homework. Sit in a coffee shop and draw sorcery 101. go back to my dorm. Watch TV with friends and ramble bout my newest way to torment Danny. And talk to Fans online.

Also, you should know that there is a nice set of C-cup breast on my chest and a complete lack of a dick down below, which say despite what most people online think at first I'm of the female sex.

As for process for creatign Sorcery 101, I'm very very VERY bored 90% of the time.

I am most definately a female. Why else would the male characters have their shirts off half the time?

I thought this would be humorous to see Danny answer in flashcard form:

What are the consequences involved with being Seth's blood bond?
