Guess you're bored at work again?

In a year or two, Haley can draw her own comic and then I'll have two artists in the family.
If you can call Beau and Stephanie art... :smug:

I'm still waiting to see your rendering of Stephanie, my dear :-)

Surely if Haley can handle the task, you can at least try! Hell, you drew probably a dozen LWIBHs in the day. You have experience.

Let's see your Stephanie!

I can do a fairly good imitation of Stephanie if you want, but the drawing talent does not flow in my veins and I will not be drawing anything but blood at my next doctor's appointment. I wish Shamrock was my doctor....(sigh)

Sad to say... If any of your doctors had been as qualified as Shamrock, you'd probably still be in one piece now.

I think you've babbled enough about health for me to be able to ask what's wrong without seeming like an ass.

Whoa, 29? Geeze. I'm gonna go Google that, I don't want to make you type out what I can easily look up. I know what it is, I just don't know much more than the definition.

Bad doctors thought my wife had that for a while before they misdiagnosed many other diseases.

Turns out my wife has a salicylate sensitivity. After four years, a fairly happy ending.

Damnit, another word I had to look up. Could be worse, I still remember the time I was reading the LWIBH archives for the first time and had to look up coprophilia. Gah.

Quite possibly the best post ever in the history of forums on the internet.

They didn't think I had it, that is why the medication they were giving me wasn't working. Doctors can be pretty dumb. BTW, I actually wasn't even sure coprophilia WAS a word until I looked it up too...

Edit: Obviously that was Amanda speaking. I keep forgetting I'm not to stay logged in at all times anymore.

I should've known it'd be a gross word, but my curiosity wouldn't just let me assume. The problem with learning new words like that isn't so much the "Ew, that's what it means??" It's the "Ew, people do that!!"

I know what you mean about the medication thing, I've luckily never had the problem, but my mother went thru hell getting the correct kind for her high blood pressure. One guy thought it was higher than it was since the nasal spray she was taking raises your blood pressure, then another guy didn't believe it was as high as the machine said, it was like dealing with the Three Bears and their stupid porridge. It seems she's finally on the right stuff now, Baby Bear's porridge really is best. :P

Owen: You do realize your sig makes me want to say you used up all the salt? I can't really make that joke when I don't know what you drink, but it's still funny.

Currently I'm into big pitchers of sangria with lots of fresh fruit. It's a slow buzz, and I've heard the fruit is good for you.

Never been much of a salt on the rim guy, but there was time I had a brief love affair with mescal, worms and all. Never had any "Gah" moments...but close. It's the worm. It'll make you see things.

Stop mentioning things I have to Google!

I'm not a big drinker, I pretty much stick to Corona, red wine, and the occasional White Russian. I'm a major lightweight, so I really only drink maybe once a month, more if I go to a party or something.

Sangria sounds really good, maybe I'll give that a try sometime. I'm actually planning on taking a bartending class, I'll get to learn about other drinks I've never heard of. Everyone I know who drinks really just sticks to beer or hard liquor, not too many people are into mixed drinks, which is probably the main reason I don't drink very much, beer gets boring sometimes and I just don't dig the crap my friends drink, they drink whatever's cheap.

I used to be a big tequila drinker, but these days, neither Scott or myself is a big drinker. I think once you have kids, the fun of drinking gets sucked out of your life. Hangovers and "Mommy, Mommy, Mom, Mom, Mom,MOM!!!"Really don't mix...

Sometimes I miss my younger days...sigh...

It's better if you still live at home, because if you don't, they just tell you to go home if you're going to be all annoying and stuff.

Truthfully, I have a rule - no negative posting when I've been drinking, so the sig is a bit of a lie. Now, all is so friendly in here, the new digs, that the point is moot.

Maybe I should start claiming I'm drunk, a few forums I frequent I'm known for being a huge bitch, and it gets annoying sometimes when people IM me trying to defend their friend's honor 'cause I ruined their day or whatever. Or I could just remove my contact info...

By the way, Owen, since I'm too lazy to wander over to your own comic's forum, the archives of MNM gets screwed up right here. The Next button takes us to The Beevnicks instead of the next MNM.

lol Okay, I can understand that, then. I've actually finally met a few people who aren't complete retarded jerkoffs when they're stoned, so my opinion on pot has shifted a bit.

But you see, Scott is a complete retarded jerkoff. But he is the very rare good complete retarded jerkoff. That's why his 2001 Topps baseball card is so valuable.

And yes, I have one, and no, it's not for sale.
