06-04-07 Mauling?

If parody has a name, it must be... Zortic! ('cause, let's face it, what's Mel Brooks done lately?)

06-04-07 Mauling?

Postby Murray M. Lee on Mon Jun 04, 2007 1:31 am

So now we have a 'Whitechapel Murderer' on our hands?

So what do they call him, "Jack the Tripper?"

And thinking of a certain Trek episode, how will they get him without a transporter?

Actually, that was the nickname of a (fictional) hockey player.

No! Mark just can't simply separate Zoe and Zortic like that!

Anyway: Who else bets that it will be Zoe and not the guys the one that finds Chearl first?

Well, looks like the guys found out what's causing the maulings, and it's a real pain in the neck.

Looks like there's going to be some bad blood between Zortic and those girls...

I guess he never expected to find some fang girls in there.

I wonder if he and Splink manage to outrun them he's going to shout "So long Suckers!"

And with those outfits they seem ready for a Masquerade. :smug:

Perhaps he can find something to defend himself, like a... bat? :-|

Let's see if Mark provides a cameo of someone capable to help Zortic on this... Someone like "Muffin, the Vampire Baker"

If those two don't get moving, there's going to be fangservice.

At least Zortic can't blame those girls of being nosey.

Looks like our heroes will have to do as Michael Jackson and 'bit' it, unless they want this strip to turn into a 'Thriller'.

Looks like Zortic went for the futuristic Logan approach.

I haven't done a good Logan's Run parody yet, have I? I had to have mentioned it at some point, but that's one of those classics that really needs to be done some time.

That would be: 8) 8) 8)

Anyway, looks like Zortic's going to need some kind of weapon soon, like a bat... Wait, no...

Logan's Run Parody?

Obviously one would try to improve upon the plot. Maybe instead of being ordered to commit hari-kiri, after thirty one's life becomes so miserable death doesn't seem that bad. Almost all your time outside eating and sleeping is spent laboring at dead-end jobs, those of the opposite sex ignore you, you're considered about as welcome as the garbage man to others ...

Wait, that's how so many "Generation Xer's" live in real life.

I knew I should have taken that bet. But then I would have had to do some rewriting...

And in a vampire plotline, you can count on things going wrong.

That's right. In a vampire story, you just know something is going to suck!

Did Zortic make a Crypt-ical mistake? This was the Queen of the Damned wrong turns.

Will he be able to survive this Fright Night, until Sundown?

If he wants to achieve it, he must remain silent, like a tomb and very Lestat-ic, unless he wants to become one of The Lost Boys or The Little Vampire.

Looks like its time to call for The Fearless Vampire Killers before the Dance of the Vampires begin. Or at least somebody who volunteers to do an Interview with the Vampire.

Forgot to thank Mark for working From Dusk Till Dawn to bring us this comic, even when it was not Love at First Bite in my case. I found Zortic thanks to some recommendation from the Underworld of Keenspot comics.

He really knows how to cut in the jokes using his pencils like a Blade.
