If parody has a name, it must be... Zortic! ('cause, let's face it, what's Mel Brooks done lately?)

Cameos in or with Zortic!

Postby Hogan on Thu Jul 13, 2006 2:06 pm

Hey all!

I did one of these at the old Zortic forum, and I can't understand why it has taken me so long to repeat it here! :)

You see, for those who don't know, I'm having fun with a little project of mine calle The Webcomic Crossover & Cameo Archive, a site where I try the impossible, keeping track of all the crossovers, cameos and references between webcomics!

Zortic, being the one of the first webcomics I started reading (it might even be THE first), has off course a full entry in the archive, not only due to the Zortic/Melonpool crossover (shame on you if you don't remember!), but also due to numerous fun cameos and references.

This is the direct link to Zortic's entry in the Archive

Now, the reason for posting this is to make sure Zortic's entry is complete!
While I'm pretty sure I got all the cameos IN Zortic added, I still keep coming across old cameos or references featuting the crew of the Entire Prize, so... do any of you know of any of the above mentioned that's not already listed in the archive?

If you do, please speak up and I'll add it as quickly as possible so the entry can be kept up to date!

No matter what, thanks in advance!

Incidently... could we make this temporary sticky Mark? Just to make sure it'll serve to suck up any knowledge of Zortic-cameos from visitors?

Looks like Scale from CameoComic could finally contact Splink in some kind of Leia way.

Yeah, something tells me that Hogan is going to be pretty busy updated the Crossover & Cameo Archives for a while. :smug:

And others in the Zortic crew were glimpsed in the latest Cameocomic at http://cameocomic.comicgenesis.com/d/20070502.html although Scale, having not seen the others, didn't recognize them... and Mindmistress, my character, has never had the pleasure of meeting them.

I think it's really cool that, even though they're distorted, they're perfectly recognizable. Very nice!

And they are back!!

... all of them even!

Don't worry, this is not Crossover Wars II, just an interactive flashback from the Volet.

And to stall any questions, the Zortic and crew taking part in the Last Battle were brought in as reinforcement through the Cameo-Rules!
