A place to discuss deshive.com, the central hub for Dan Shive's (author of El Goonish Shive) projects. It has blogs, too! ...but no pool table :(

The DarkShive wrote:Not only were the "lesser roads" not good enough for the scene, they weren't good enough for me. Way back during the Sister story arc, I wrote a poetic title for a pivotal comic in Ellen's story. I've received e-mails asking everything from whether I got that from a published song or poem, to if people could use it as a portion of the lyrics for their own songs.

I note I never got a reply either  :P
I love the new song (As my presence in the Main EGS forum should make it clear)
"We all have our time machines, don't we. Those that take us back are memories... And those that carry us forward, are dreams"

"Some people never go crazy... What truly boring lives they must lead" - Blackie Lawless

Yes, we got to see more of what lead to the song. Now to see if the bunnies can do as well for Dan.

I rarely post as you can tell but I wanted to say how cool this blog was.

When I read a story in what ever form I often try to imagine what the author intends or thinks or even what he (or she) is going through when the story is written.

The inside scoop offerd here was realy neet. I love the making of stuff.

And the truth behind the origin of the fire sheep is neet to. Now when my D&D charicters travel to the elemental plane of fire I am imediatly going to look for a fire sheep of my very own.

Thanks to Dan for the inside scoop.

And it was a funny and interesting read too.
Keep the Faith
