[Blog - Mar 25 2006] Wonder Woman, on the Other Hand...

A place to discuss deshive.com, the central hub for Dan Shive's (author of El Goonish Shive) projects. It has blogs, too! ...but no pool table :(

Yeah, I thought David Willis as soon as I saw Batman, let alone his dialogue. Damn You Willis!

I introduced myself on page 42 of the newbie intro thread. Truly this means I am the answer.

Willis is awesome; Batman is one of my favorite comedic characters thanks to him. As a result, I enjoy the animated series Batman's in on a whole new level.

Haha, that's great, and yes, I did think of Shortpacked and Willis' Batman jokes when I saw that. Right now I'm thinking of the DDR one, in fact.

Batman, is there anything he can't do. Then again, someone is careful to cover those things.

Now I just need to start reading that comic (to do list, damn).

He is Batman, and there is nothing he cannot do! :grumble:

The same can with som regards be said about both Dan as Willis as they both seems to be able to pull new twists and turns out of the sleeves with each new comic! :)

Yay for being introduced to Shortpacked. Yet another highly amusing way for me to waste time online . Nice fanart, Dan.

Jeez, just when I thought I understood everything I could about Batman... you do realize that now I'm reading 10-15 comics regularly... Ah well. This joke was worth it, most definitely.

There is a subset of funny comics that make me go "Bwahahaha  " instead of my usual laugh, which resembles the call of a chimpanzee. Of those, this one is on a blog page. What gives?

Wow, Batman kicks arse. I bet he could even open jars on the first try, and make the perfect bannana split too! :P

Well, he did practice to make himself the best at everything Daffyd! ^_^~

I read 31 comics now, counting having just read through Shortpacked and added it to my collection last night. Great comic, fairly sure it's the first to catch me off gaurd and have me almost fall over laughing while unexpectently drinking something. Twice! First at the Gardening Batman scene, and the second when Ethan was wondering about how Mike was saying he likes insecure girls, that he's a predator and, even in that serious moment of thought, adds his other random insult to his thought bubble. *Giggles*

Why, Pirate Ninjas from Dino Island, of course!

We're pirate ninjas from dino island, ain't our livin' grand?

Great pic, Dan! I'm a huge fan of DW's Batman-as-comedy-gold, and the "PENGUIN!" in the bottom corner of this strip was just perfect.

Come on, whoever heard of polar bears and penguins together in the antarctic?
You've heard of the dogs of war.
What about the foxes?
