Ah I've been a goth for a while now, not much new except that you put on alot more make-up.... which isn't that bad.... oh god! They are on to me!

Heh, 3 whole sections for DS, my god! What next? EGS episodes (oh please, oh please, oh please!)

I think we need to have another whole section, dedicated to RP's, it takes a mere 2 hours for a topic to jump to the second page. And EGS's popularity just keeps growing! GAH! (soo... beautiful....more catgirls.... oh so beautiful)

...Huh! So Dan Shive put up a new website. I wonder how he has time to build and maintain it and still have enough time for his comic... that actually explains a few things.

You've got a keen forums section for this as well?

Iwas wandering the forum carrying my guitar and stumbled on a rock, leading into a land of wonder.

"DAN'S SITE HAS FORUMS?" I cried in wonder and disbelief. Shortly after I calmed down and looked at all the people there who were looking at me quite odd, as during my scream my guitar's strap had somehow hung itself from my forehead. "Umm... Hello everyone," I said blushing and putting my guitar on properly, "I am happy to be here on Dan's new forums! GO DAN! Wooo!"

Some of the people went back to their business, others still looked strangely at me, but I made myself to a comfortable place and ordered some gingerale. As I waited for Dan's next response and update.

OOC: Sorry, couldn't resist!

Anyone remember me? I just logged in with a renewed interest in the Keenspot forums partly because my old posts still show up in Google searches of my name and because of the whole DEShive thing. Which, by the way, I can't stop pronouncing in my mind as if the E were lowercase. It's one less sylable, and therefore easier, even if it's only in my head. :-P

Does this font make me look fat?

If you're going to post something that is a possible spoiler to something, change the font to make it so it has to be highlighted. #ECFFFA is the font color for quote backgrounds, so text in that font will be totally invisible in quotes unless highlighted.

For the record, I would really, really rather not have to put a "spoiler warning" in the heading for the welcoming thread >_<

Heh, it was a retorical statement. There hasn't been any clues as to why Dumbledore would trust Snape, J.K. Rowling has been very good about that.

Except for people whose browsers do not display the background in #ECFFFA, of course.

By the way, the timestamps in the blog are nice, but would be more useful if one could somehow infer the offset to UTC (preferably directly, instead of having to look up a timezone name), so this is a feature request to that effect. :)

Unless the code makes the site look horrid in a browser, I consider it as kosher as a hot dog with cheese*!

* note: Dan may or may not have any clue as to what it means to be kosher

As for the time zone, I have it set to my local time zone, which is also the timezone the EGS goes by (ie it updates at 11 PM CST). The timestamp is interpretted by PHP, which is serverside, so to match the client, I would need to bust out the javascript, which I don't particulary want to do.

EDIT - Oh, and thanks for pointing out the broken keenspot link. That was being generated from an external file that I haven't really looked at for a while, and I'd forgotten that I had even intended for that to be a link ^^;
