Candi Merchandise?

Postby Starline on Sat Feb 04, 2006 11:11 am

Here's what's up. I'm thinking of starting to sell Candi merchandise. But I'm not sure where to start and what to sell.

So here's what I'm asking you. If I were to make Candi merchandise, what would want to see sold, what would you actually *buy*, and for how much?
Donation wallpapers?
More prints?
Notebooks?
Bookmarks?
T-shirts?
Books?
Buttons?
Stickers?
Auctions?
Raffles?
Other?
I'm really interested in knowing what you'd be *seriously* interested in buying.
If you don't want to buy merchandise at all let me know too!

If you don't want to spend a dime and still help out the comic, all you have to do is tell people about Candi. Link it in places you hang out. Tell your buddies about it. Stuff like that. Any bit of advertising helps. I think I might even make a printable flyer so if anyone wanted to post it somewhere that'd be cool too.

I'm open to suggestions too. Ideas, thoughts, good ideas, bad ideas, tell me what's up. Inquiring minds would like to know! :D

I'd say shirts, prints, and posters.

Auctions would be great as well.

What about a Menjou plush?

I`d buy a print and the books. Maybe a calendar if that was available. Personally, I collect some playing cards (Not trading, the solitare kind) and a Candi Comic playing card set would be cool to have too, though I have no idea where they print those at...

How much they would all go for? With prints, I guess it would depend on whether they`re limited edition or not. As for the books; I guess it would depend on whether you kept it in color or not. Grayscale 200 pages, could probably go for $15, Color 200 pages could probably go for $30-35...

A large tea mug. The larger the better, well, maybe not more than one liter, please.

A life size Candi plush doll would be nice to hug when in a bad mood, but it would probably be too expensive.

Notebooks would be awesome.

So would t-shirts, although I'm hot and cold as to my t-shirt buying. I want want want so many, but I have have have so many as well. I recently gave a friend 25 of my old shirts, and it didn't put a noticable dent in my wardrobe.

But, for "must-have" items I know I'd buy a notebook or four. I'd probably buy some stickers. I like the idea of a Candi coffee mug, because I keep candy in my mug on my desk.

Just some 2c.

I would love a cute T-shirt, and I'd pay somewhere around $12-15 for it. ^_^ Even though I don't need any more shirts...

Stickers! Woo! Those would be adorable. As would notebooks.

Especially if she hugged back!

I would probably go for stickers if they weren't too spendy.

Stickers!

Probably the quickest/easiest to make...

As for the other items... I'd probably go for a poster.

Clothes

Postby lizzybabe69 on Mon Sep 03, 2007 11:20 pm

I would buy a hoodie (for about AU$50), a Candi tote bag maybe with a pic of just candis head or just the word candi in your font, depending on size about AU$20-30, deff a candi shirt for about AU$30. A menjou stuffed toy deff!! depending on size probably up to AU$30.

Not sure what else! I put all the prices in Australian because thats where I am
