One of the interesting statements I made to Chris Crosby when we first started coloring the story and such was that...the older an Everlasting was, the more "silver" their eyes should be...as they get older, that's one of the things that "shows their true age." Of course, the reasoning behind that was that any true "color" would have gone "gray" by then.
I know it sounds weird, but that's why the Everlasting all have lighter colored eyes.
And as a tip, Lyght as a person/Everlasting has been around since about 700 AD. I know that isn't explained in the story, but while putting together the treatment for the next portion (still in need of an artist), Lyght was a character I wanted to flesh out more...where he came from... what caused him to be evil...things like that.
In fact, I'd LOVE to have that come out...because I really feel it was my best 4-6 issues of story...and I haven't even written them =)
