However with an appropriately timed blood-curdling kiai, you might be able to nearly double that.

------------------

Errr... you're on a battlefield with a Sith Lord, a major-league telepath in battle armor holding a miniature blaster cannon and backed up by orbital fire support, and a whole bunch of Sinfesters with machine guns and (apparently) superhuman accuracy.
I would suggest ditching the Kung-Fu and going for something more like "Anything Goes Martial Arts."

True. It seems that battles like these are ruled by:
Summoning

High Fantasy
CowboyNeal
Kung-fu will just get you laserclawstaplemanglefolded, which hurts, I can assure you.

Yeah, I hate godmoding; it's why I never got into the battle threads on CRFH/Rooms and Mutants. I love ELA, because in that, only cannon fodder(and the occasional main character) dies, but LOTS of damage gets dealt out.
Coota and Irony must have shot each other like fifteen or sixteen times each(even if most were flesh wounds)... and broken I don't know how many bones, ribs, etc in their final battle alone. That was a great battle, and didn't involve this insta kill stuff that everyone is so fond of using these days.
And not only that, but for those people who say magic shouldn't used at all, if you use it right, it can be cool. None of this all powerful shit, but maybe some magic thrown in with some physical combat, and you've got coolness. Not that I'd ever use it; I don't like magic, personally, but I've seen it used well, occassionally.
------------------

millichans! That's perfect! I've got to remember that...
And as for "godmoding" (another terrific term I have to remember), I agree completely. Oh, well. Power escalation is the nature of the breed, I suppose.
(Is it just me, or is it terrifying that there's actually an etiquette for forum fights?)
