I stumbled upon Avalon while looking for information on, of all things, a Kenny Loggins album.

I've been at the Archives for three days on and off, starting with Ceilidh's first dryer sheet. I finally got to the end.

Being a middle school English teacher, I'm afflicted with the notion that someday I may actually write something noteworthy. In reality, I know it'll never get any better than the couple of decent poems I wrote in an undergrad class 15 years ago.

Avalon is noteworthy.

I feel compelled to tell you, as have others here, that you have created something wonderful. You've told a story, a story that people love and relate to, a story that will endure.

ps my wife wants to know WHAT the HELL I've found on the computer NOW that has me so FRIGGIN mesmerised. She wouldn't understand.

Maybe not until she reads it.

And you've only begun; there's a vast range of webcomics out there (check the selection in Keenspot alone on the list in the top right corner of this page). Your wife won't get you away from the computer...

must... resist... other... webcomics...

dangit, I got a job to keep and 4 kids. I get hooked on this stuff and I might as well hire a divorce lawyer and move into my car. Hey, you can steal wireless Internet from just about any urban street corner nowadays, right? Hmmmm.....

(note to self: start researching laptops and wireless internet cards)

Indeed. Lots of other good webcomics.

Good luck with your newfound addiction.
