Manga-Alison, today's experiment by Josh.

OK, we'll go with that. What is she looking at with that face on?

At Phil Bradley, making a fool of himself. (Yes, I'm dull like that.)

Alternatively, at Phoebe or Noelle, entering the caf

I put him in because I think that if Alison saw him he would remind her quite strongly of Iain - if she needs reminding.

She's looking at a couple arguing, and thinking of all the wonderful fights she had with Iain... :)

Why, do you want some Garlick?

Yes, I know that was terrible. But I just couldn't resist :)

At a George Arison Memorial Concert. :P (I think it was on the "Avalon" board that I first learned on that day two years ago that George Harrison, being included in the set of "all things", had indeed passed, as per his song.)

K.A.H.
Perhaps she's looking at the ceiling of a very curiously constructed room?

I think she's distressed that she's suddenly become thirteen again and must relive the last five years. At least, she's looking an awful lot younger to me.

That'd be a good opportunity to do some things a little bit differently, wouldn't it.

Dunno why, but on Manga Alison I didn't get that impression.

You know, that actually works. Neil don't you have Italian roots? (Ignore double meaning in Aus, please.) Harrison with an Italian accent becomes 'Arrison.

I'd say some random person being stupid, but far enough away that it's more entertaining than annoying.

Yes, Alpine mother and Calabrian father. The two regions are as different as the English and the Irish.

Iain's accent too :)

Heh. Polentoni vs. Fenici. A hot debate indeed.

I have heard that the Padanesi have moved the border between the two as far north as the river Po.

Australians sometimes drop the aitch too, though. Although it appears Iain doesn't. Cockneys can do:

"In 'Ertford, 'Ereford an' 'Ampshire, 'urricanes 'ardly ever 'appen."

Hmmm, looking at just about any of the Hildegarde's customers, and pretending (badly) to be listening...

I don't think so. If she was looking at some customers talking to her, she wouldn't look so thoughtful and calm, more like shooting lightnings :)

Unless she's taken Gar's advice to reach out.

It's a small town.

Oh, and Animal, cue the Jimmy Buffet song again:

Now I'm gettin' old, don't wear underwear
I don't go to church and I don't cut my hair
But I can go to movies and see it all there
Just the way that it used to be
