The truly great advantage of Bundaberg is that it's the home of Australia's largest distillery, and (not unlikely) Iain's favourite poison:

To be honest, your remark about Iain and Old Bundy was the reason I mentioned Bundaberg at all.

Heh, this does not come as a surprise. When the long-time subjects of large quantities of PSL suddenly show up sporting facial hair, it can be a shocking turn-off. I figured I should at least attempt one, though, to be fair and all.

Hmm... Do we even have any female boardies anymore? I know Kosei drops in and out every month or so...

So do the Uc twins, Wapiko, Harlenna.

Of course, with some of the less regular posters I simply don't know their gender. Plus, you could be woman in disguise, for all we know. Heh, Nicole Wright, anybody care to tackle that project?

GAH.

...and wow, has this messed with my head. :-?

I'd explain how I got from 'a male version of Helene' to this, but I'm not sure I have any idea. :)

Oops. Apologies.

I've lacked the organisational coherence to sit down and really listen to music recently.
I'll be making a serious effort to listen in the next day or so, once I get this commission out of the way.

Back to work. :)

The ponytail there, though... Don't know how Hel

That's cool, M. I think Alain should have long hair. Maybe something in his hair too, an analogue of Helene's hairband, like a pair of sunnies or something.

He has. In a ponytail, even.

I agree with Markus - seriously good pic there, Master Zacher. I also agree with Neil that long hair on a male version of Hel

No, cuz that means that the exam season is upon us once again.

This is perhaps an inopportune time to point out, as Damonk did in his first guest week, that most intermediate to advanced level graduate courses don't have exams.... I'd like to think I'm not being as smug as he was about it, though. :-? Although I do have to proctor and aid in the marking of an exam. It's strange how the ninety minutes to two hours pass in the blink of an eye when you're taking the exam.... when you're proctoring it, it drags on endlessly.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Revising for an exam taxes one's nerves and sanity. Sitting an exam often causes nerves to override what little knowledge has been absorbed. Waiting for the results of an exam is even worse. Writing an exam (properly) is an irritating process (which explains why most exams are not written properly). Proctoring an exam is mind-numbingly dull. Marking an exam is tedious and painful. So why bother having exams at all? :-?

To torment students and teachers alike? Interesting concept....

Ninty minutes to two hours? Mine are all three hours long. And it certainly doesn't seem that long while we're writing them.

Can you not bring a CD player to listen to as you proctor the test? I understand why you wouldn't bring something to read, but I'd at least like to be able to listen to misic during that time.

Oh, and any more, I have at least one test that is done on Scantron sheets, so the profs/TA's don't have to put any effort into grading them.

Yaknow, I'm gonna have to look into this grad school thing if we get all the fun of uni with less exams to worry about...

Neil's comment didn't let me rest until I had some things rectified.

I assume this should get Neil's, at least partial, approval.

(Sorry, Tenma)

I hope you'll limit your bastardization of my art to those sandals. They are appropriate, though. :-)

But feel free to bust out your own thong-wearing version of Ianna. :-)

She's Australian, and they're called thongs. "Read it. Learn it. Live it." as Judge Reinhold said in Fast Times at Ridgemont High :)

You tell 'em, Grassy. After all, the whole world was educated about this with a float sized thong during the 2000 Olympics.
