Ah, looks like the end of the re-caps - I must admit, it did remind me of a few details I'd forgotten about. Is it just me, or is there a worryingly high weighting in the re-cap towards the strips suggesting problems between Mr. and Mrs. Bradley? I was hoping there'd be able to resolve their differences amicably...

The strips have returned, just not new strips. And I dare anyone to say that it's no work to assemble those recaps.

I don't think the recaps were skewed towards the Bradleys' marital problems, it's just that the whole family seems near a make-or-breaking point. The recaps just put it more in fresh memory.

I'll admit that final strip's question's pause is more than pregnant, it has had time to produce quite a few litters already...

Yeah, having to review over 500 strips to determine which ones should be included was a bit of a chore. And I did that 5 times. :-)

But the worst part was organizing all of those panels. Part 1 was originally 8 rows long, and I cut it down to 7 just to keep the filesize below 500k. Part 2 was at least 9 rows long before I cut a bunch of stuff out. And I had a HECK of a time with Part 5, trying to combine the different widths of panels (for some reason Alison's strips have strange panel divisions). Until I cut away at that one, I don't think any two rows were the same width. :-/

ANYWAYS... now that I've done all that, drawing new comics should be *easy*. ;-)

Josh, did Mrs. Page misspeak when she said that James and his pretty young girlfriend skipped town together? Because Erin said that she met him when he was in Seattle, and it's pretty clear she's never been to Avalon.

Who said Erin's the only one Mr. Page has been with in the past, what, four years?

Josh, looking forward to the new stuff.

Good to see some old panels though - especially Iain (go Aussie go!) saying :
"It makes me wish ah drank the stuff - coz then I could insult it".

Classic Iain.

Well, speaking as an OrStrayLeean, I can readily say that Australian beer leaves much to be desired.

(Of course, american beer is no more than humourous...)

Ah, yes. A return to normalcy. Thanks for the graduation present.

And for those Trekkies (I prefer the old term) who having been hearing Majel Barrett-Roddenberry: "And NOW, the conclusion..."

(Edit -- off-topic: The forum seems a little faster, too. No "created in 90+ seconds" loads yet today! Let's hope that continues as well.)

Let the twistiness resume!
