Show me your comic!

Yeah, use me as your excuse to spam. Post your best comic, and maybe say why we should read your comic.

Ooo! Ooo! Kez shall play!

This is my newest favorite page. I don't really like the medium's [comics] use of "panels," so I try not to use them at all. I think pages without boxes are more...natural. Sorry for the large size! If anyone complains, I will change this to a thumbnail.

You guys should read my comic because I've been doing it for 4 years, and I'm told the evolution of the story/art over that time is incredibly cool, not to mention the story itself. Since the comic is based on a fantasy novel, it's a long-form story, with an emphasis on characters, world-building, and plot. This isn't a Tolkien story; there are no elves, dwarves or orcs. The further you get into the story, the more sci-fi it becomes, until the fantasy begins to vanish. :D It's a long ride, but hopefully, a fun one!

Here's one of my recent updates:

Image

You guys should read this comic because it includes traditional Chinese brush painting techniques that are not commonly seen in American comics. I just started this a few months ago, but eventually it'll show one of the darker episodes of Chinese history.

If you have any comments about this comic, I'd love to hear them. Cheers.

Meh, why not.

So, why should you read it? Because you're curious. Just don't expect anything better than stick figures.
The News wrote:As those who saw the original version of today's comic are well aware, an edit has taken place. In the original upload, the second panel was completely uncensored. Boy, was THAT embarrassing!

raekuul's thoughts wrote:http://www.egscomics.com/d/20031128.html, last panel.

First of all, HI! Great to be here. I never really knew about this place but I'm glad I found it. I started a new webcomic, www. spadeanddiamond.com, about two cards, the Ace of Spade and the Ace of Diamond, struggling to survive in the high stakes of gaming. Their world is a world of games and life is express through the games we know. From Poker to Casino games to video games. It's like that phrase, 'Life's a game'. So here is a sample and enjoy! I really like the chinese brush comic up there. It really looks unique.

I've fiddled with Chinese brush painting in the past, and I love it. It's so much fun. Your brushwork is fantastic! Gorgeous.

I'd also like to second Doc Merlin's CROSS WORLDS NEXXUS link. His comic is absolutely crazy. I love it.

As for me, I draw Locus, which is all about Boobs, Blood and Bad Language. It's not a family-friendly or all-ages comic by any means, so don't read it at work. But if you like horror, breasts and ass-kicking, click on my handly little sig image.

Hi, I'm new here though I've been reading keenspot comics for a long time. (since 1997 with Bruno the Bandit)

After much huffing and puffing, I’ve finally launched the webcomic I’ve been working on for a long time - Seven Years in Dog-Land. It’s what I call a “literary fantasy”. It’s fantasy because of the talking dogs; but it carries serious, dramatic messages like classic literature. To sample this 'new genre' i scrunched up, read this comic!

My new webcomic: Seven Years in Dog-Land
http://dogland.smackjeeves.com

"When Alice runs away from home to look for her lost dog, little she knows that she may never return. She stumbles upon the kingdom of Dog-Land, an alternate world where dogs are the masters, and humans, their pets.

Under the crimson sky of this misshapen realm, the sprightly ten-year-old begins her true journey... of discovering what it truly means to be human... as she seeks a way back to our world."

Come read the entire chapter 1 (out of 7). All comments are welcome.

Never miss a chance for shameless promotion. We are just beginning our comic (only about 25 in) but we finally have a handle on what art style we will be going with. Unfortunately we haven't figured out a good image hosting for our site so link only. Feed back is always welcome. Enjoy (I hope)

my lil sci-fi quasi-furry comic mish mash

a measly comcigen one at that - but its nice, been doing it for over four years now.

i'm in the second major story arc right now - it'll be wrapped up soon...

EDIT: this isn't necesarily the best of my comics - and as to why you should read it: well, i got neat storylines, a unique art-style, and i try to have fun while making it. thats really it...

Comic is called Jam and the Solutions and is about the smartest person alive, inventor and all-around science-person Jam Truth, as well as her little sister Alexis and some other people who end up living in their house.

The comic has 34 posted pages so far and lives on livejournal for the time being, at http://merrickm.livejournal.com. RSS feed is at http://www.rsspect.com/rss/jats.xml. I plan to make a proper website for it after the first chapter is complete in a couple months.

Here's the introduction of a character named Amy September:
Image

You should read it because it features mad science and nice hats.

Thank you for this thread! I'm so much more likely to browse through here than to randomly click people signature links.

As for myself... I am the creator of [b]Well This Is Awkward[b]. http://wtia.comicdish.com It updates thrice weekly, and is swiftly approaching the art change into a smoother style. NSFW, at all. Gratuitous nudity and crude humor are utilized with no warning or apology. You should read my comic because.... um.... I will post a picture of sadcartoonytearfilled eyes if you don't. Thank you.

Neat thread, I mostly lurk the discussion threads for other comics, so didn't realise there was something like this here.

Plug for my comic: (might edit post later to add a proper page, they're too big to post normally)

http://neorice.com
Pixelart comic using only entirely self-made material, it's uhh..a fantasy comic that mixes different genres and stuff, though it generally leans towards humour, still follows a fairly serious storyline of sorts though.

I guess one big reason to read it is the fact that there's barely any pixelart comics out there with material that's exclusively made for the comic,
so it might be interesting to give a look by merrit of the unique art it has alone.
